Board of Directors - 2018

Gordon, his wife Susan and their son are Spring Lake Hills residents since 1998. Gordon can be seen walking their Golden Retriever Cody daily. He served 6 years on the board previously in multiple capacities, facilitating successful capital asset improvements in the community including reconstruction of the community wall and the playground renovation. His longstanding career in Neurorehabilitation has included expansion of a neurological rehabilitation company in Florida into Michigan and a successful sale of that company to a national brand. He has served on various hospital and rehabilitation committees, international committees, and works currently as a National Deputy Director for a national rehabilitation company serving 21 states. Gordon also volunteers at church with his wife and son.

Kathy, a native Floridian and longtime Seminole County resident returned to Altamonte Springs several years ago to be closer to family (her brother and sister-in-law are longtime Spring Lake Hills residents) and her downtown office.  Kathy is a real estate litigation attorney in Orlando and has experience representing homeowners’ associations, and has previous experience serving on association boards of directors.  Kathy lives with Jeff and the youngest of their four children (age 15), while their elder three (ages 25, 23 and 21) enjoy visiting the house on the lake when on vacation from work and school.  
Bud and his wife, Anita, and their four children came to Spring Lake Hills in 1970. Only one family has been here longer!. They are the proud grandparents of ten grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Bud has previously served a 2 year term on the Board as President. During that tenure several improvements were made to our neighborhood: the flag pole at the entrance, a new notice board, a computer-based visitor control system, and improvements to the interior of the “Guard House”. Bud retired from Lockheed Martin in 1997 after 39 years of service. After retirement, he and Anita moved to Munich Germany for three years where he was a consultant on the Eurofighter program. Bud and Anita are active at the Maitland Presbyterian Church where he currently serves as chair of the Finance Committee and the Refugee Resettlement Ministry Group.

A lifelong Floridian, Brian and his wife Jeanne have raised three children, (ages 23, 21 and 18) at their Spring Lake Hills home. He has served 6 years on the Board of Directors in multiple capacities, including President, and served the community outside of board leadership through many partnerships he has forged between Spring Lake Hills and Seminole County, City of Maitland, Florida Wildlife Commission and the Florida Department of Environmental Protection. He sponsored what is now an ongoing Seminole County MSBU program that benefits our community lakes and waterways, and continues to serve as liaison between Spring Lake Hills, the Seminole County Lakes Management Department and the Seminole County SERV Program.  Brian is a successful entrepreneur, commercial real estate and construction professional and continues to be active in multi-year positions with his church on the Pastoral Council, Stewardship Council, Finance Council, School Board, Booster Club, Strategic Planning Teams, and other projects.

Craig is a new 2015 resident of Spring Lake Hills, and also newly married. He and his wife are looking forward to putting their roots down at Spring Lake Hills. He is a financial analyst at Lockheed Martin and has contributed his time and skills to good causes such as Habitat for Humanity, Second Harvest Food Bank and also at Tangelo Park Elementary School.


Dave and his wife, Lori, have been Spring Lake Hills residents since 2017. Dave and Lori have two children, Madison (21) and Zack (18), both of whom are attending college.  In addition to the SLH Board, Dave has volunteered for many institutions over the years, including the Boy Scouts of America, various PTOs in a variety of capacities, and many church committees and programs. Lori and Dave can usually be seen walking one of their dogs in the morning before work. Dave's day job is as an executive in nearby Maitland at a local community bank.
